Due to bad engine, have decided to buy a rebuilt from Jasper. It’s beyond my technical ability to put it in so, starting Nov. 1, shop I use (when project is over my head) will install the rebuilt push-rod 302 (5.0). Since I’m doing the engine, I’ve ordered some other parts to make it a better rebuild. I’ve also got some Torq Thrust wheels coming to replace the stock ones (that I rattle can painted). The car has a cheap aftermarket cold air intake on it and I’m going back to stock with the rebuilt engine. I’ll try to post some pics of the work as it goes along. The goal is to make the car an almost daily driver/low speed autocross car/road rally car (not a high speed road rally)(hoping to do Rally North America’s Smokey Mountain Rally in the summer of 2015).

Old engine is out and new (rebuilt) engine due in tomorrow. Replacing some clutch parts while we are in there. Will post more as progress is made.

The new wheels also on the car. Tires were already new ones so moved them to the new rims.

The 94 is home again. Much more power and torque. Still needs some fine tuning. Electrical seems all good but still wondering if there is still issues with throttle body or maybe injectors (the old ones were reused since new ones did not come with the rebuild engine). The miss is gone (but that was the bad cylinder).
