Recently changed out radiator, water pump, thermostat and upper radiator hose. Temperature fluctuates while driving but doesn’t stabilize and goes toward “H(ot)” when idle. Smelling antifreeze inside vehicle. I don’t drive with A/C. What could be the issue – heater coil?

      Thanks in advance!

The smell of coolant might be a heater core leak but from what you have said you have already done you should be checking for a head gasket leak.

With all the work done you may have air in the system.
As for the smell of coolant may be a leak or its from running
          hot.

If it is overheating at idle it could be a worn fan clutch.
temp variations at speed could also be the fan clutch and air in the system.

+1 on bleed the coolant system.
