HELP!
94 Honda accord LX auto tran 280000 miles on it, stalls while driving. Will usually start after pulling over and putting in park and trying a couple of times. Only does this once a week. Usually starts fine then maybe two miles or so just dies brakes and power steering out. Lights, a/c, radio all still working.
We have replaced main relay, distributor and ignition switch. We took it to mechanic and they checked fuses and fuel pressure, battery and alternator and anything else they could think of. Nothing wrong. No codes, no check engine light.
When running the car drives like a dream! Just not sure what else to do. Very dangerous for my son to be driving.

If it just stalls either fuel or spark. does the car idle correct?

Idles fine has some rattles every once in a while, but it’s 20 yrs old with almost 300,000 miles on it. Spark plugs are new. Fuel pressure good.

Spark plugs may be new but is electric flow to them and causing a spark
at the end. The link I sent should help you with the diagnoses. click on
the symptoms.Ok. New symptom. Main relay starts clicking away right before car dies… So I bought a new relay (2nd one in 4 months) put it in and still does the same thing. Is there any other reason that relay would make that sound besides just a bad relay???
Eric put up a video about stalling problems. Maybe it can be a help. Something about the ignition switch?
Already changed that out with new one. Also new distributor. Main relay new and clicking right before it stalls. Fuel pressure is good. Fuses are good. New spark plugs.

stalling or loosing the power to it.This is the 2nd brand new main relay that we have put in car. Instantly, new one began clicking and stalling. Fuses are all good. After it stalls It does crank and run in a few try’s. This car runs perfect 90% of the time. This is not a no start/ no crank symptom. It always starts up It just get down the road a mile or two, main relay starts snapping and stalls out while driving seems to have this problem when engine hasn’t warmed up yet. Can anything else make the relay click (like crazy) and stall?
