Hello everyone!
I have discovered the source of a rattle/clunk on my 02 blazer and learned there is a GM service bulletin out about it.
When going over bumps a clunk very much like a worn out ball joint/ broken stabilizer link/worn out lower or upper control arm bushings can be heard typically from the passenger area and sometimes drivers area. Seems as if the hood hinge will wear the hole in the hood bigger and cause it to bang around when going over bumps. GM suggests to add a washer in the hood hinge pin to tighten it up. I can replicate it (depends on how the vehicle is parked) by using my hand right at the corner of the hood above the hinge and bang on it. makes the same clunk.
So check this before spending lots of money replacing front end parts.
