I want to start with I don’t know what happened.
I just bought this 92 Toyota pick-up this truck had a common problem of the Brake and clutch mounting plate breaking on the bottom corner. So I pulled the clutch master cylinder as well as the Brake booster off the firewall and removed the pedals. Welded the crack and put it all back together. The truck drove fine before the work was done aside from not being able to use the clutch to shift.now that the clutch works my brake pedal is far to firm less than an inch of travel before 100% brake and the brakes seem to stick while attempting to drive.
Trying to figure out what is going on I cracked the Brake line on the front of the master cylinder to release the pressure and it worked so I bleed out and replaced the fluid hopping that would be the fix but I’m back where I started.
It seems as though the brakes aren’t releasing the pressure from applying the breaks. Having the truck on and off doesn’t have any different result.

Sounds like an alignment problem with the repair/reinstallation of that plate. Due to the nature of the repair, I doubt anyone can diagnose this without directly viewing the cracked/welded structure and seeing how the operation of the master cylinder is being impeded.
It may be as simple as the pedal not being correctly aligned / attached to the booster / cylinder assembly.

I already pulled the master off the booster to see if the booster was Mis aligned with the Pedal 8 depressed like normal. What is confusing me is that when you pump the brakes the pressured games but won’t bleed off . If I go out and pump the brakes 5 times the brakes end up holding

If I understand correctly, with the master cylinder disconnected from the booster and pedal, if you depress the master cylinder, it does not release the pressure? If that’s the case, your master cylinder is bad.
