Try a 4ft or so piece of pipe on the breaker bar.

It’s what I was striping the sockets out now with the impact gun it won’t move them at all why would they be way over 150 lbs

If your impact gun is only rated at 150 ft lbs, get a better impact gun. Those bolts will be pretty tight, they are holding down quite a bit of combustion pressure. I’m fairly certain a good impact will have no trouble getting them out of there.

Use a lot of good penetrating fluid. Let it soak in. Use good socket and no unnecessary extensions. If head is 6-side use 6-side socket. Then just use impact gun or long lever.

If bolts get out good. If they snap you maybe in trouble depending on where they snap. If head (of bolt) breaks you have to drill the head (of bolt) out after head (of engine) is removed bolt can probably be removed easy.

The best way is to get access to a more powerful impact. Even a 3/4 or 1 inch gun if you have to. The impacting motion will be much nicer to the bolts then twisting them with a huge cheater bar. Remember, impact guns generate torque over time, so keep on it for 10-20 seconds.

🙂 I am sorry that you are having so much trouble with your motor disassembly. Do you have a repair manual for your car ? There is a certain sequence to remove the head bolts, and you want to follow the procedure or you can warp your head. You need to have someone help you with your breaking loose your head bolts. I would use the breaker bar with a long cheater bar, and have your helper hold the breaker bar upright while you try to break loose your head bolts. If you use your impact again, you may try tightening or running the impact forward, then stop and put the impact into reverse and see if you can break loose the bolt. I believe if you can try to remove the head bolts in the correct sequence, you may have better luck.
