My 92 Accord has 275,000 miles but I love it. I just put in a new master cylinder, both rear brake calipers, and all new brake pads, and suddenly it makes a light tapping (or clicking?) sound when I turn both ways. Did I do something wrong with those rear calipers? I found out after I replaced them that I probably didn’t need to do that anyway. I assumed the rear ones were like the front, but I heard the pistons won’t go in with a c-clamp on the rear ones, that you need a special tool to push them in. I don’t know, though. It sounds like it’s coming from the front. Any ideas? Thank you! I love this awesome resource!

Front clicking on turns is usually indicative of cv joint going bad.

I would have someone walk next to the car and listen for the sounds when driving it slowly and turning to see truly where it is coming from (a cul-de-sac is a good place to turn and listen for this noise when someone is outside the car).

Locating the noise source and inspecting where it comes from is your next step….

+1 clicking on turns is usually a CV joint problem. More info here.

          As for the rear calipers.

Good luck and keep us posted.
