Hey what’s up guys this is my first forum my first time..I am working on a 92 Dakota 3.9L and it’s a crank no start condition. I am getting spark on only bank 2, I’ve replaced cap, rotor, wires, plugs, checked power and grounds on PCM, I checked power at the coil and it’s also pulsating while cranking. Got spark at the coil..I’m out of ideas..I’ve also replaced the distributor…

Fist of all, did you perform a multimeter test between the spark plug and cable to see if you have electricity ?
Second, you can buy a tool ( Ignition testing tools web link ) for 16$ to check the ignition and even car fuel delivery system.

I think you have a fuel delivery problem, because you have change a lot of electrical component and have no ignition. But, you need to test it with tool to pin point the problem before rebuild the car completely.

Yes I hace replaced the set of wires with new ones..
I have check fuel pressure at the rail with a guage, the PCM is commanding every injector. I put a spark tester on bank 2 passengers side and I have spark on all 3 cylinders.. go to bank 1..no spark on any of the 3 on the drivers side…

Ok, then. Spark is coming from the distributor, so, the wire that do in the spark plug have electricity. To complete the electrical circuit, you might need to check the connector insulation in the spark plug wire. The spark plug tread might have rust in It and need to be clean with a rag soak with penetrating oil if you see rust. It’s definetly an electricity issue.

I figured it out..ended up being the ignition coil not strong enough…
