      🙁
My accord squeals when I turn a corner. THere is no shaking, no loss of control or power steering power.. It seems to do it when I slow down and turn at the same time… It doesn’t sound like a squeeking belt. Belt is brand new. But the sound had started before the belt change so I don’t think that is the issue.. Do you think theres air in the line?? Can that even happen on a power steering system being that the pump would pump the air out to the resivoir??

First double check your tire pressure. One of my customers has needed tires resealed for over a year, every time they get low it does that. Wish she would just let me fix them. Could be other things, maybe alignment or other.

I will definately check that.. But It seems like you can hear it on the steering column.. Come to think of it there is a small vibration.. Nothing clunky or jolty, just definately coming from steering…

I will check the tires, alignment had been done 6 months back and drives like an arrow.

If the squeak seems to be coming from the steering column try putting a little grease between the bushing in the firewall and the steering shaft. These seals can dry out from time to time and cause noise. You can access it from inside the vehicle. Just remove the plastic cover at the bottom of the steering column to access the bushing.
