91 Civic Dpfi. When my car has gotten warmed up in the past, I have had sputtering issues, all the problems happened at low rpm, and after it was good and warmed up. I have tested TPS, and changed it out, I unplugged my 02 sensor on friday and had barely any issues in the morning time, and when the afternoon time came my car wouldn’t go above 3000 rpms, and when the service engine light came on the issue was gone. I have also cleared the code and had a new one wire sitting around so i replaced it also. So I do my PMs this weekend, change my valve cover gasket with spark plugs tubes, and even did cap and rotor and plugs ( inspection this month ), And I hear a vacuum leak. I used about two cans of carb cleaner ( buy it in bulk! ) And sprayed down lines and hoses looking for a leak, I finally found a spot that caused my car to spit and sputter and eventually stall, I did this twice to verify the area that i was spraying in, and it was the throttle area, and now I can’t get it to do it again. And now my car runs better than it ever has.(since i’ve owned it) So my question is, time for a new throttle body? Or did I finally clean the junk out of something that has been making me mad for a year?
