W 180#1 sparkplug threads good
#2 sparkplug threads slightly wet with oil
#3 sparkplug threads wetter with oil
#4 Sparkplug threads much wetter with oil (wettest of the 3)I did run the engine for about 5 minutes before the test, it was pretty cold out.
I made some mistakes when trying to run the test.
#1 Sparkplug socket has no groove for the bearing in the extension, so can remove the plugs but can’t replace them as the bearing doesn’t grip.
#2 Under-tightened the adaptor for the compression quick connect hose, leaving the adaptor down inside the valve cover when I removed the hose. (crap!)
(after 1/2 hour of intense thought)
I resolved this by removing the O-ring on the hose brass section and screwing into the adapter tightly, but not too much, then unscrewing.I tried to use 10w40 motor oil for the test but the oil can wouldn’t work so I used ATF.
Will this cause me any difficulties?
