can anyone help please!!. my 91 civic will crank but no spark. it was running and then just died. I have replaced the whole distributor unit ( cap, rotor, ignitor, coil and distributor). wires are new too. i tried to check for codes but the light on the ecu does not come on at all. I checked the ground and it seems to be good. also main relay is new too and fuel pump. all fuses are good.
I have a feeling it’s another relay somewhere or the ecu itself. Can someone please help me????????

Personally I will guess first the igniter relay (main relay) see in the video above.

did you use a aftermarket distributor or oe?
did the problem happen before the distributor
                  replacement or before.

the problem happened before the new distributor, thats why i replaced the whole assembly. with no progress

It is not common at all but you have done everything already that I would have checked. I had one with the same problem and it ended up was a small leak at the windshield that kept leaking behind the panel and rusted out one of the plugs to the ECU, replaced the plug and worked perfect. Not saying that is it but easy enough to check.

NEVER REPLACE A HONDA DISTRIBUTOR WITH AN AFTERMARKET UNIT. Also, if you follow the steps in the Honda no spark video posted above it shows how to check the primary circuit. If you don’t have power at the coil check the fuse in the under dash panel for the ignition. It’s a common mistake to miss this very important thing. If the fuse is blown you won’t have spark. It’s good practice to test before you start replacing parts. Keep us posted.
