      I just got a 89 Honda Civic with only 81K miles and was wondering what kind of oil is recommended, I also live in a warmer climate….

        A good quality high mileage oil should do well.
        If possible try to find out if the previous owner used conventional or synth.

          I use any cheap oil sold by 5gal. Unless the car is turbo charged, I would not waste money with synthetic oil.
