So I’ve noticed that when turn on my headlights my speedometer crops out along with the odometer. If I turn of the truck and turn the headlights on before I restart it the speedo is fine, I tried looking for a common connection between the headlights and the speedo but all I can find are the cluster lights. I haven’t been able to find a diagram that shows anything. I have also noticed that if I have my heater and headlights on when I come to a stop and my engine returns to idle the radio will power off. Low idle issue?, or voltage regulator?

thank you sir, i was sure someone was going to suggest that, it had crossed my mind but i was waiting to see if someone else thought the same before i went through all the connections. I have noticed today it seems like my battery is weak, it has been unusually cold here these past few days, down in the single digits. But last time it got that cold i had no problems.
It reminds me of a dodge caravan I worked on. The alternator was failing. The longer the vehicle ran the more it drained the battery as the battery drained weird stuff started to not work. I’m not saying this is your problem but I would definitely check out the charging system to make sure the output is correct.
