I have a 1987 dodge w100 pickup. Right now it has the stock gas tank, which I think is around 12 gallon tank. With it being an old v8 with a 4 speed I can’t get a lot of mileage out of that tank. I would like to replace that tank with a larger one if that is possible. I don’t know if it is which is why I’m asking for your opinions and other ideas on hauling more fuel. Thanks,
      Brick

Rather than replacing with a larger one, you might look into the possibility of adding an additional tank. Some trucks from that era came with 2 tanks. If your’s was one of those then you might be able to add an addition tank over moving to a larger one. I would check with your local Dodge dealer to see what the options were for your vehicle.

          Good luck.
