Hey all, i have an 87 Ford Ranger XLT.it has a 5 speed manny. Recently ive been hearing a squeaking noise thats relative to my road speed. But its only there when im accelerating, letting off the gas makes it go away.brakes have 0 effect on the noise. Ive heard it could be anything from a worn clutch to bad wheel bearings or a bad u-joint.My rear diff is a bit low on oil so im not ruling that out quite yet.I don’t believe its the clucth either because it still works perfectly, doesnt slip, engages properly, etc…there is also 0 effect on performance, it isnt slowing me down nor do the wheels hop when i turn, but i am taking it gingerly on my 2 minute commute. if need be i will post a video. Any ideas? :stick:
