So i have an 87 aries, and this morning i turned on the wipers and the passenger moved, and the drivers stuck mid swing. Easy day at work so tries to take the arm off to see if the splines stripped, but i cannot get the cap off to get to the nut to pull it.
Any suggestions?

You will need to either pry the car or grab it with channel locks.
you may want to try and cover the cap with something so you don’t
mar up the cap from the channel locks. try also spraying the cap with
