ok first off buy 2 new matched batterys and install them at the same time. odd size and age batteries will kill batteries and alternators. henc why you needed a alternator lol_x000D_

im trying to figure that out to be honest. Im having a hard time probing the regulator itself. If I rev the engine the batteries go all the way up to 17V! At idle they are about 13.4 the frusterating thing is I really think the regulator quit but its bran

I was getting my pipes mixed up I realized the upper tube is actually the exhaust, the lower is the oil cooler and im wondering if I have oil leaking out of it

havnt had time yet whats confusing me is the numbers read high but the trucks ammeter reads normal.

Well I took the truck to Autozone and from what they can tell the batteries are not being overcharged so Im thinking it was my DVOM
