      ok first off buy 2 new matched batterys and install them at the same time. odd size and age batteries will kill batteries and alternators. henc why you needed a alternator lol_x000D_

          Yea I see the NAPA carries new plugs so I may just get a new plug and wire it into the harness. Im just not a fan of hard wiring is all.

            my dvom was reading 13.7 before i started mopar but they were fresh off the battery charger. Anywho I forgot to turn on more stuff when doing the load test the batteries dropped to 11.59 amd when I shut down the electrical stuff with the engine running th

                  i lack a soldering gun and ive never done it tho I have hard wired wires together

                    I think those are the wires that may be damaged. I just cant tell what the ports are for what

                      how ever you connect them i would atlest use some heat shrink to keep water out.

                              oh boy ford made this a fun one!! is it internal or exturnal regulated? does it have a volt gauge or just the battery light? what is the alternator size in amps? i guess ford had 7 different ways of doing it in them years so yea fun fun lol

                                  I noticed the wire but I wasnt sure if it was a critical wire that was cut. I believe the alternator is a 100amp. Its an external regulator, and it uses gauges

                                    mopar is there a way to get a replacement wire set. The whole thing runs thru 2 fuses (i think theyre fuses or capaciters) and then split off.
