      I CHANGED THE VOLTAGE REGULATOR ENGINE STILL WOULD NOT IDLE I TURNED UP THE IDLE TO LIKE 1200 RPMS STILL RAN A LITTLE ROUGH I THEN CHANGED THE COIL THE ENGINE SEEMED TO SMOOTH OUT A LITTLE BIT I TURNED THE IDLE BACK DOWN TO 700-800 R

        also since they had swaped carbs did they change ignition module and distributor? many of these old dodges got switch over to GM HEI. it works great unless some one did a poor job when doing the rewire. if you don’t know just take some pics and post them.

                    ok after a little digging i did find some info claiming dodge used a few Qjets in the 80s. so i may be wrong on that. however i have never seen one with a factory installed Qjet._x000D_

                      Carburetors are finicky things especially the ones from the 80’s.
