my auto trans in my 84 cressida mx62 ADM built, wont change gear when cold. ive replaced the trans fluid and filter and theres no info online that is helping me, everyone saids change fluid and filter and some say use lubegard? something to do with the trans metal expanding and contracting under heat? can you help me or do a video?
the only solution i have found is to let the motor heat up for 10 mins. or drive around in the suburbs in first untill it heats up enough to change gear. also if i accelerate up until like 4.5k revs it will change im guessing thats because all those revs are heating up the trans oil tho….

my guess is your tranny is worn out. as it heats up, the expanding parts will help to seal any pressure loss. again. its a guess
