      Hey guys, iv had some solid luck with the help of a couple people on this awsome forum! and hopeing i can get some extra help on this one.
      my problem is, when im climbing through the mountains basically on the freeway through the 60 if anyone knows that windey up and down freeway to riverside. ill be jamming at a good speed around 80 mph, just to sustain momentum mostly. because as soon as i start going uphill, all power goes out the window..my speed drops super quickly to around 65 mph at most with the pedal pressed all the way down. kickdown drops the gear but speed even gets slower..i know being 4 speed auto isnt the best trans out there. but i feel like thats not a solid excuse to why i lose so much power to sustain the speed of traffic. iv been suggested carb swaps with webers back and fourth wich isnt a bad idea, but will eventually bite me in the ass for future inspections..
      iv had the carb fully rebuilt, replaced all the diaphrams, orings, gaskets ect..iv pulled out the jets and cleaned em and made sure i was getting a good light visual through em. ran way better than i got the car. but still, only issue is climbing hills in general. but downhills another story, picking up plenty of speed obviously.
      so my questionable solution, is can i rejett the carb like i would on a motorcycle ? im thinking going higher on the main jet ? idles perfect so i dont think id have to change the slow jet. but if its possible, how much higher should i go and what jets would be the ones i should be looking for, for high speeds ?? and do you think that would help my top end ?
      im basically running a cherry bomb exhaust to straight pipe. but still has cats and i believe the resonator. stock intake aswell.
      if anyone has a solution to this issue please help me, this would be the best car i could ask for if only i can maintain my speed like i need to in california freeways…
