Im doing a rebuild on a 46rh mopar and its getting kinda difficult trying to find a reasonable torque converter for it trying to stay under 200$$$ and ive looked at 46re and they have the same exact specs as a 46rh but they are more abundent so they are a lot cheaper and i was wondering if i could put one in my 46rh and be compatible. I know 46re and 46rh are pretty much the same other than the valve body and they use the same rebuild kit.

318 or 360,the torque converters are different up to 1996 I believe. The 360 torque converter has a counterweight on the torque converter. There is one thing to check too,the bottom transmission line connecting into the radatior. There is a nylon checkball inside there you remove.Problem with that nylon checkball is it melts and plugs the line up.Basically drill it out and pop it out with a long #2 phillips screwdriver.

          Where are you looking?
          There are several depending on:
          #1. Lock-up or Non-Lockup
          #2. Engine and year
          #3. Application

Here is a link to the Transtar torque converter catalog:

Sounds like you need the CR94 style converter?
Google search shows advance auto parts has them for $121 + $50 core charge?

If you look on the front of the torque converter,up to 1996 have a counterweight on the torque converter for the 360.Biggest thing with a Chrysler automatic like this one,use the ATF+4 fluid only
