I have a 93 Toyota 4 runner. What has happened is the right front wheel locks up when I put it into 4 wheel drive. I had to move the vehicle because we had a lot of snow and ice. The vehicle seemed like it was froze to the ground. I put it into 4 wd and I heard a pop noise. That’s when I noticed the right front wheel was not moving. It will drive in 2 wd. Been reading posts but nothing coming close to what this thing is doing. I think the front diff is out. Was told that I needed to check transfer case and electrical switches. I would ink if transfer case was out I wouldn’t get 4 wd at all. Can the actuators cause this? I know they are vacuum operated. Brakes ok. Wheel bearing ok. Any ideas?
