Call me weird but I have always loved the 3rd gen f body. When I was a kid I would come home from school and watch a bit of tv (after I finished my homework if my Dad came home early) and one day my normal tv show wasnt on so I flipped around and I found that old show Knight Rider. I thought that car was THE COOLEST CAR EVER! Last year I actually got one…. yea not the best thing ever put on the road but none the less I get asked all the time “Hey is that the knight rider car??” and its been loads of fun working on this car and I just started my KR conversion a few days ago, a few people have knocked me because its a standard and KITT was a automatic but thats a whole other topic. Yea thats my favorite car at the moment. Sort of making a childhood dream become real S:)

I must say KITT was AWESOME! Its one of a few show cars I want. I have the chance to buy the red strobe lights. I don’t really know where I would put them on my car though.
A few others I want would be the one for “Viper” and of course the most over rated car ever (but still an awesome car) The “General Lee”. I’ve been trying to get the guy down the street to sell me the charger he has in his yard.
Not to many people really remember Viper but it was a decent show. The car reminds me a lot of KITT, Just a lot more modern and able to camouflage itself. I’ve found a few of the shows on youtube, I have been waiting for them to come out on dvd or something.

I barley remember that show, but I looked it up on youtube just now, I did see it way back when, That was a cool car 🙂 I wonder when a dvd would come out. As far as KITT goes, mine is being a huge headache! but its a childhood dream so Ill see it through, I could get all KR nerd on here but Ill save that for later.
There is one movie car that is so out there I would actually drive it if I had the chance or even the luck at finding one these things cheep is the Delorian from back to the future, what a wild looking thing! Yeah those have gotten quite rare, And there are very few places you’ll even be able to find parts for them. I completely forgot about another car I thought was awesome when I was younger. It was a futuristic concept during its time, There have been a few of them built by collectors but still not many. Its real name would be the Dodge M4S Turbo Interceptor, AKA “The Wraith”. I love the look of the front of it, The back not so much.

One of the first cars I bought in the Xbox 360 game Forza 3 was a 3rd gen T/A. All black, except the rims…would have been cool if they had put in a “KITT” upgrade option.
Honestly though, there really wasn’t a year of Firebird-T/A that I didn’t like. Pontiac doesn’t get much representation in video games though…it’s always the GTO and that’s about it usually.
