      Under what circumstances are 3/8 and 1/4 impact wrenches necessary ? Please let me know.

        I agree. I pulled plenty of transmissions with my 3/8″ and I used it 10x more than my 1/2″. Aircat is also a really good brand though. I have both 38″ & 1/2″ aircats and my 3/8″ has more power than my buddies old 1/2″ IR lol. And I only paid a little over $100 for mine brand new.
        Although, I use my 1/2″ cordless a lot more lately. Depending on what I’m doing.
