2019 Chrysler 300 – transmission questions

Hello, I work alongside my family in the limousine industry and one of our 2019 Chrysler 300’s is having some major transmission problems. I know many people have told me to expect it but I was quoted by a good friend who I take my Mercedes Sprinter’s too when they have DPF/AdBlue problems and he said a new transmission would be starting at $8,000.

So far the comments I got from drivers are as follows:

1. WOULD NOT SHIFT OUT OF 1ST GEAR
2. THE VEHICLE WOULD NOT GO INTO REVERSE IN PAX DRIVEWAY HAD TO GET TOWED BACK
3. TRANSMISSION HAD TROUBLES AT THE AIRPORT LAST NIGHT IT WOULDN’T GO PAST 30MPH I HAD DRIVER TURN OFF THE CAR AND RESTART, IT WORKED AFTER THAT
4. transmission problem. the reversal didn’t work 3 times in a parking lot

Before I go throwing money away at it, is there any advice as how I should proceed? Could I do a transmission rebuild? Is there a good place to get a rebuild kit from? I tend to do a lot of maintenance work so I could figure out how to do it if it’s worth the cost.
