Hello All! New to the forum.

I have a vibration issue in my 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, which has almost 36k miles (bought used with 28k miles on it). I’ve been on several forums to try and diagnose what is happening.

When I drive, no matter the speed, I feel a constant “vibration” in the steering wheel, driver seat, and floor board. When I get to 65-75mph, I get the steering wheel shimmy, but it does not happen every time. I thought it was a tire balance issue; however, I’ve gotten these tires balanced, road force balanced, and rotated several times by Discount Tire and the Dodge dealer near me. I’ve been on several forums, and there seems to be a reoccurring statement that it is the 20″ OEM Goodyear Fortera tires, but I want to do as much research and get as many possible ideas prior to throwing out $700+ on new tires that may, or may not, fix the issue.

If anyone has any ideas, recommendations, etc….please let me know. Thank you all in advance!

vibration by tires is easy to diag… take every tire off… find a level and smooth ground and try rolling the tire on its own… it should at least give you 3 rev before falling down… but if it keeps falling on one side at the same spot… you have some problem with it… and need to check it out….
I would also do a spepention check…. with the car on the ground try shaine each tire area up and down… next jack the car up… take each tire shake right/left then up/down and try spining it…. see if you notice any weird sensations or vibationa or noises… also check the sway bar links and sway bar bushings try shaking them….
if you do those you will figure out what the problem is
