Does anyone else absolutely hate changing the oil filter on the new Dodge Diesel. The only way I see how to get it out is to go through the wheel well and spill oil all over everything. I hate them a little more everytime I do one.
Does anyone here know of an easier/better way of getting it out?
There is no access from above or below that I can see.

There is supposed to be a slot in the wheel well. If thats no good

Thanks, I can barely get my hand through the hole in the wheel well let alone getting it back out while holding the filter. I looked into removing everything in the way from above but that is more work than what a oil change is worth.
Seeing things like this make me want to strangle the person who designed it.
Why couldn’t they put a maintenance item like that out in the open?
