Hello,
My brother has a 2012 Altima V6; and he has been complaining about the car idling rough. I know this condition could be caused by numerous things, but he sent me a picture of one of his spark plugs, and I’m thinking it looks a bit “cruddy” for only having 30k miles on the car. I don’t have much experience “reading” spark plugs, could someone take a look at the picture and let me know what you think? Thanks.

The plug looks quite normal check the gap.

It looks a little crusty, but nothing to write home about. As you pointed out, there are many things that can effect an engine’s idle. That said, I cover those things in this article.
