 The Check Engine Light recently came on my ’12 Journey, with the code “P06AD” Oil Pressure Solenoid
Open Circuit. My question is, can I remove and clean the solenoid first before buying an new one, and
will the code reset itself after being replaced? I have read that it can also be caused by using an incorrect
oil filter. I had the oil changed at “Jiffy Lube”, is this correct?

I found this. I would try a new mopar filter only first. You may need to top up the oil.

Thanks College Man, I check the oil level, and check the filter’s O-ring.

It could be the oil filter itself. Keep us posted. Also check the sensor did not get hit or unplugged by the lube tech.
