Well one day I was sitting in the driver seat and I looked carefully into the information display and as I was watching the RPM meter move up and down by a hair, like it didn’t stop moving up and down. And I was in park and wasn’t reving it it has a 3.6L V6 Direct injection now I have heard there’s a lot more carbon build up with the direct injections and that could be the issue. Second issue, the power steering makes a hissing nose when turning.

Sorry if the grammar sounds bad.

      Thanks all the best Chevyguy344,

Have you checked the PS fluid level? Is the correct fluid being used?
As for the tach. does the car run rough?

Runs fine and no I haven’t checked it. Though if you sit there in park the lights will go dim lke every 2 minutes it, when they go dim they dim for a 2 secs them return to normal.

That’s a tough call. It may be normal. Perhaps we can get someone to weigh in with the same vehicle to confirm that. If it was a ‘real’ issue I would think it wouldn’t run properly or set a check engine light.

I’d keep an eye on it but I wouldn’t worry about it too much right now.

As for the PS noise, check the fluid as suggested.

Good luck and keep us posted

Well I think I may need a injection clean and new spark plugs. For some reason the Main driver of this car thought oh well its a 2012 it shouldn’t need any thing like that even though it has the factor spark plugs. It annoys me when they think its too new to need the fluids toped off or other regular maintenance.

I feel bad because she services at Firestone and they do a Haft (But) job on things, like we went in to get new rear tires and they get it in there and the front tires are brand new already put about 3200 miles on them ) and what he does is he take off the Rear Tires just the rear tires and doesn’t bother to rotate Tue fornts to the rear and also didn’t top off the fluids, Now we have a Wobble/Fish tail when we go on certain groves on the high way. It do that before the new rear tires were put on.
