I have this customer and I am at a loss as to what is making this vehicle act up. What it is having is intermittent shutdowns while braking. I’ve been able to repeat this malfunction. As you brake for a stop light or stop sign, the vehicle will cut off with no actual warning. I went to Autozone and it came back with a P0010 error code. It says it is the Intake camshaft position (CMP) actuator solenoid control circuit bank 1. I can’t explain it, I just don’t think that is the issue. I’ve also tried to look that part up and nothing. Can someone please help as I am loss and the customer is starting to become a little upset as I’ve been working on this for almost a week.

Here is a better explanation of the code and fix than I can give, but was there any pending codes as it seems that code does not ususally cause a complete shutdown, loss of power, but not a shutdown.
