Hi Guys,
Just noticed my high beams are not working tonight on my 2010 Honda Civic Sedan.
I recently his a racoon which destroyed the bumper and the head light. Both were repaired however, the high beams have worked since then. Now tonight they both don’t work. I have yet to check if both bulbs seems to be defective but I don’t think so. Any idea what it could be? Some sort of fuse? The switch lever it self.

UPDATE: So I played around with the switch. When the lights are off I can flash the high beams. However, when I turn on the lights I cannot flash or turn on the high beams. Makes me think it is the switch assembly itself or maybe a broken fuse and that is causing some havoc some where? Am I correct or totally wrong?

I should also Note that this car is a Canadian model. With a DRL module. Would anyone have any idea? Or have you heard of this before?

When your headlights are on then you try to flash the high beams, do the main headlights get dim? I’m thinking there is either a common power or ground run to both high/low that may not be allowing enough current to run both high and low at the same time.
We will need a wiring diagram to see.
No they do not. They stay 100 percent normal.
Car off – I can flash high beams
Car on- high beams do not flash or are unable to turn them onSee if this helps. it may be your drl module. I would need a

UPDATE: Brought it back to the garage who did the bumper/head light repair. and they changed both bulbs and it worked. However, it is odd because when the car was off the high beams could be flashed. Also on the way there the regular head light went out. Garage thinks there is a short some where (from the accident) otherwise the high beams and the regular light would not go out but he said keep an eye on it and they will look into it further is the problem continues.
