Hey guys I have a 2010 Chevy Colbolt has the 2.2L. Was out driving coming back from the store and the car went into limp mode. Got the Car back to the house in limp mode. Now I took the car to the Dealership and there telling me that the car has a seized up motor in it. im calling BS cause the motor turns over by hand. The Security light is now on, im about at my End with this car. Any ideas on what could be wrong with this, NO lights are on there is plenty of oil in the block.

        What are the engine codes?
I think you can borrow a code reader from the auto parts places if you don’t have one.

            Hi

Couple of quick questions for you? First off you said the security light is on? Does the security light prove out when you turn the key to the run position or does it stay illuminated all the time or flash? Second question as far as having no codes in for related security issues is this just checking the codes in the PCM powertrain control module or do you have the availability to check others controllers on the vehicle ie BCM, and RCDLR control modules?
