Replacing the battery on ZO6 without loosing ECU memory, that s what I am aimming for.

I am thinking to connect the “REMOTE positive” of the ZO6 to another car to keep supplying voltage to the ECU then disconnect the ZO6 battery and replace it.

Is it safe? any recommendations or concerns?

Update: I did change the battery and it was totally fine to disconnect the better without any other source of electricity. The tuning did not get effected. I just needed to do the window index (programming) with is a 10 second process described in the car owner manual. I talk to an electrician who is specialized in corvettes he said he never had any problem with disconnecting a battery from a car and replacing it.
And from my simple DIY experience, I have taken a VW touareg battery out of it and re-installed it with no problem (car was switched off) what so ever and no programming was required either.

BTW, taking the Zo6 battery out of the truck battery compartment was a pain, literally. Took me around 15 minutes. Battery has no handle so be creative. I have used a piece of thick wire, slided it under the battery and made me a handle to put it out. The frame around the battery compartment is poorly designed too. Work around it patiently. GOOD LUCK

Thank you guys from your inputs.
