Hello,
I have 2008 Honda Civic, with A/C issues. The AC blows cold in the mornings, or after it has been sitting for a long time in the shade, and then blows ambient air when the car warms up(10minish) or is driven for a while.
I’ve have the pressure sensor replaced.
Freon replaced and black lighted for leaks which there are none.
Changed cabin filter.
Changed relays and ohmed fuses ( I even jumped the clutch relay to see if it would bring in the clutch to the compressor, and it did)
Condenser isn’t blocked.
AC will blow cold for 10-15 min, the a moldy musty smell happens and it turns to warm air. Then it’s warm air the rest of the day. Even if I leave the car outside while at work in the sun, even though it’s off, the AC won’t kick on. I would think if I was freezing it would be thawed after 9hrs in the sun. But it’ll run for 10min every morning after it’s been cool.
Yall ever heard of this before? Any insight on this before I start making costly repairs would be much appreciated.
