okay so i am doing a timing belt on 07 pt cruiser and we had complications with a customer. with out going into the whole story the job got put on hold for two weeks now and my boss threw all my bolts into a box on me. i have only been working in the shop now for 8 months and have done a couple ford timing belts but not any chryslers. i have re-remembered where every bolt goes shy of two sizes(length that is). there are four 8mm bolts that fasten the water pump to the engine block and another bigger one (like 15mm or somethin like that) that holds the cast iron bracket to the block for the upper engine mount. the ones i cant figure out are the 8mm that are long 8mm bolts and short 8mm bolts (4 of each and all black). so, do the long or short ones fasten the water pump to the engine??? i have looked all over identisux and cannot find a pic of them in the removal sections and i cannot find a parts explosion anywhere, please help. i hope i didnt offend anyone with the euphemisms used in the subject or the body of this plee for help….i honestly have nothing against chrysler in the least bit and i prefer to work on their trucks over most.
