      Hi Eric and everyone else,

We have a 2007 Jeep Commander Limited 4×4 with the 4.7 L V8 Flex Fuel engine. We take the Jeep to the dealer for all oil changes and they have been using the recommended 5w-20 conventional oil at each change and we change the oil every 3,000 miles. The vehicle has over 97,000 miles and my question is would it be beneficial to switch over to a high mileage oil and if so what brand do you think would work best in this engine or should we just stick with the conventional oil. Thanks in advance for your help and advice.

      Pierre

It would not hurt to use the high mileage oil. But its not necessary.
Brands to use. Mobil 1, Castrol, Valvoline
