I have a 2007 Honda Civic SI 2.0L sedan, when i insert my key in the ignition switch there is no (green key light symbol/immobilizer light) key symbol in the dash board and when i try to start the car the engine (crank) turnover but wont start.Wondering if i need a new immobilizer or what could be the possible problem.

I would try your spare key if you have one. If you don’t have a spare a tow to the closest Honda dealer is in your future.

Long shot but you could try resetting the computer by disconnecting the battery for at least 10 minutes.

If the immobilizer is causing the no start, the light actually flashes as you crank the vehicle. That said, perhaps we should just approach this as a typical no start and check for the basics and go from there. Here’s an article that contains those basics.
