2007 honda accord vp.. b/14 dash code. Requiring tire rotation, oil change, spark plug change, fluid inspections, and front end component inspection. All went fine..I do have a question about the front end inspection. Grasping the wheel at the 12 and 6 position, no movement..Grasping the wheel at the 3 and 9 position, I do have a very slight movement. I have determined that it is not comming from the axel. It seems to be movement in the inner tie rod. The movement is the same on both sides. All the rubber boots are intact, and are in good condition. The tire wear is normal, (no wear on outer or inner edges of the tire) The steering of the car feels normal. I will be replacing front brake pads, and rotors, as the rotors are warped.. Should I be addressing this issue too, while I’m changing brake pads, and rotors?? I thank you all in advance, and I look forward to your expert advice..

Sounds like a loose tie rod…Yes, it should be addressed… Check out Eric’s newest video where he puts a new tie rod on his Fairmont… He actually shows the check…

I thank you!! I just finished watching that video.. I should state, the movement is not comming from the narrow end of the boot, as in Erics video.. The movement is comming from the wide end of the boot..It’s the same on both sides..Any thoughts will be well recieved.. Thanks again..

Still sounds like tie rods… or a loose steering rack….But most likely loose inner tie rods…
