2007 Ford sport trac XLT 4×4 front wheel axel nut.

It was confirmed that my axle nut is a 32 MM . I have a 32 MM 12 point socket that dont fit . Maybe someone can help me here . I think first of all I need a deep well socket .Secondly maybe I need a deep well 6 point socket in stead of a 12 point socket . I thought the point didnt make any difference but maybe so .
