      Car has 91k miles.
Front brakes replaced 2000 miles ago, driver side rotor replaced as well as pads on both sides.
Vibration noticed approx. 1000 miles after front brakes service.
Tires were rotated – not rebalanced.
Vibration continued, potentially a little worse
      Had tires rebalanced.,
Vibration still exists and can be felt in the seat of the car both at high and low speeds, frequency changes with vehicle speed. Also can feel in the steering wheel at times. When slow rolling you can hear a low frequency thump or bump when you feel the surge or bump in the ride.

need advice where to look.. thinking anything from motor mounts to rear disc brakes to failed shock.. Please help. possibly tire issue still but would think that would have been found by tire shop already…

        Possibility’s are.

        1. Warped rotor.
        2. bad wheel hub.
        3. Worn inner/outer tie rod ends
        4. Motor mounts.
        5. alignment issues.

Personally i would take it to a good shop for an alignment check and they will look over all related suspension and steering components.

Vibrations at slow speeds is more than likely a balance issue.
Vibrations at high speeds on a smooth road while coasting in neutral is most likely a balance and/or tire(s) issue.
I’d bring it back for a proper balance. Took me 8 times between two shops until they got mine right.
Oh, and make sure the inner part of the wheels are clean before you bring it in. Most tire shops don’t bother to wipe down the inner wheel before balancing.
Let us know your results and we’ll go from there.

          Sincerely,
A guy who battled vibration issues for 2 years

            A little more information.
I have tested to see if my foot on the brake smooths it out any and it does not.
I have also noticed the vibration is there regardless of whether in drive or in neutral.

it seems the most prevalent when when braking and slowing down from a higher speed even though Im not feeling a lot of pulsations in the brake pedal..

So as it turns out there are couple or three issues.
front passenger side rotor was warped and has been replaced. The wheel is apparently bent to some degree as well. So now I am trying to determine who may be able to fix that . Rear pads were half worn so I elected to replace the pads.. upon inspection the rear calipers were frozen solid from rust so they too are now being replaced…
