Maybe a bad contact in the solenoid, maybe worn brushes.
People that swap starters for remans sometimes end up with more problems. I’d suggest pulling it and taking it to automotive electrical shop for testing and rebuilding.

Defintely go through the steps to verify the starter is the problem. You could have voltage drop issue.

+1 Great place to start.
I’d be looking for a connection issue. It may be in the solenoid as suggested, but it would be a good idea to rule out the cables and connections first.
