      Hello,
I recently purchased a 2006 acura rsx, 2.0 l v-tec. I noticed it had a slight pull to the right so I switched the front two tires in hopes that it was just uneven wear on the tires. That didnt change the direction of pull. So I took it to a shop to have it aligned. We’ll they aligned it but it still pulled so I took it back. They looked it over and said the right tire is further back than the left and there is no way to adjust that. They said it must have been in an accident and that I need to get an entire knee assembly for both the driver side and passenger side. We’ll that’s really expensive just for parts. Can I start with one part at a time. Like replace both lower control arms at once. Then work my way to the hubs and up. And would I really need to change out the hubs and struts? It seems like the lower control arm would be the issue because to controls the location of the tire from the frame. I don’t know alot about alignment info though so any help would be great

      Thanks!!

My suggestion is get a second opinion from another shop. Then ask what they would recommend
to solve the issue. If the diagnoses is the same then you will need to replace the parts.

Most Hondas I’ve done body work on have a radius arm that leads from the foot well area to the back edge of the lower arm. They are typically adjustable in case of a minor accident. If it doesn’t adjust enough, you may need some frame stretching done at a body shop. In fact, go to a good body shop for another estimate.
