      my wife said she noticed her speedometer wasn’t reading right so i checked it out and found it to be 5 mph off . it reads 5 mph faster than the car is really going . i talked to my nearest mini dealer { 60 miles away } he said bring it in and they will fix it for $$$$ i don’t have so i asked where is the vss located on the car he wouldn’t tell me . so is their anyone that can tell me where it is on a 2006 mini cooper ( R50 ) i know i can change it myself . thanks

        5 MPH off at what speed? At 70 MPH, 5 MPH is not unusual. I generally consider any error less than 10% acceptable. It’ll rarely be perfect, due to tire wear, etc.
        How old are those tires?

          5 mph off at any speed is to much . i’m sorry your answer is way off . i have 3 other cars and not one of them is off at any speed . maybe someone else will give me the answer for my vss question . but thanks anyway .
