      Hello everyone,

I’m hoping that a few of you can help me confirm a diagnosis for a 2006 Econoline V8. I just purchased my first “semi-pro” OBD2 scan tool (Autel AL519) and I could use some help interpreting some of the data that I have collected.

      Vehicle symptoms
      – Rough idle (smooths out with pressing gas pedal)
      – Hesitation to start moving from a stop.

      DTC Codes
      – No MIL light
      – Pending code P2271 (02 sensor signal stuck rich, bank 1 sensor 2)

      Live engine data
      – LTFT Bank 1 = +11%
      – RPM = 600-650
      – 02B1S1 = 0.1 – 0.6 (alternating)
      – 02B1S2 = 0.895 (not changing)
      – Fuel PSI = 40

Looking at this data – it seems to me that there is probably a vacuum leak in the intake manifold of Bank 1…..as the LTFT for bank 2 is very close to zero. While monitoring the live LTFT data for bank 1, if I raise the engine RPM to around 2000, the LTFT Bank 1 will drop down to around +3% According to ScannerDanner – this is a tell-tale sign of a vacuum leak.

Any insight or further validation of my thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
