I have a 2006 dodge ram 1500 3.7 about 140k miles 2 wheel drive ( Rear wheel). so for about a month now ive been getting a noise from the rear driver side of my truck sounding like brake squealer but after looking at the brakes, there is a lot of the pad material left, rotors look good. but the weird part is I get the noise while driving when I am not applying the brakes. Its a off and on noise, Sound appears at random times but never while the brakes are being applied. Only makes the sound while the truck is in motion. Im not getting any weird play in the steering, like vibrations, truck pulling or anything… Not sure were to go from here.

You will find in this life, that when there is gas involved, noises from the rear are inevitable.
OK, on a serious note. If your rear brakes are disc, then the thin dust shield on the inner edge of the rotor likely has a bend in it. No need to buy new parts, just go around it with the wheel off and bend it more away from the rotor with a clean screwdriver. It bends easily, so don’t stress. You won’t even have to lean into it.
There is always a chance it could be a wheel bearing, but that’s rare by comparison in a solid axle. If it is, that can be an involved, messy and very smelly job.
I’d take apart the rear brakes and inspect them. There could be a small piece of debris lodged in there causing the issue. Look for witness marks that might indicate where parts are coming into contact. More info on this very issue here.
