      hello forum…i own a stubborn 05 odyssey,,i just fixed a P0430, replaced the converter, and on the way hoe from the shop i received a P2279 Intake Air System Leak…before taking it to the shop i replace the spark plugs, and decided to clean the throttle body…i had to fight the intake hose off the the TB….and sprayed the cleaner on a rag instead of dumping it into the TB from experience of running like s;;; on my 01 accord…please forum=what do you think happened?..i had my wife hold the fuel petal down while i cleaned the TB, had to unplug a sensor=i beleive the MAP because i got a code for it when i started the engine but never came back on…i checked all the connections and are tight…PLEASE HELP….

        It’s quite possible that what you unplugged with the key on set the code. You might want to clear the codes and recheck it. Also cleaning DBW throttle bodies is not something I recommend for that very reason. In the end you may have to take it to Honda to have the TB reset.

          i looked it up,,what i unplugged was the MAP sensor,,after i hooked everything back up,,i had a code for MAP sensor high circuit,,,

            check that the air tube and air box are tight and have
            no leaks.Was the vehicle started with out the air tube
            connected?

              no,,i never started it,,,i checked for leaks described in this video..nada,,,took everything back apart,,,reassembled,,did a idle relearn,,and no code for 50 miles,,,yea,,,just checked my scanner again and now i have a p0741 pending….whats next,,,,first p0430,fixed,,p2279=fixed,,now this TC,,

                  Unfortunately Honda transmissions on V6’s are known for issues. I’d keep ay eye on it, it is just pending after all. Good job on the other codes, keep us posted.
