      hey eric i remember watching one of your videos on coolant and you said you wanted to post a video on bleeding the air out of the coolant system on a system with an expansion tank im pretty positive my 2005 ford excursion 6.8l v10 has an expansion tank because it doesn’t have a radiator cap it has a pressurised cap on the expansion tank i was wondering if could get a video on doing a air bleed on one of these systems i have done thousands of upgrades and repairs on cars so im not a noob to this stuff just like soaking up information thanks for your time

            If you can see past video title for water pump replacement and move to minute 12. He discusses bleeding air on the GM system with an expansion tank.

                i watched the whole video mine only has one hose going to the expansion tank so bleeding air out of the coolant system will be way different that’s why i said it is a good video it just don’t help me its also for a General Motors car i need something more geared toward a heavy duty truck engine size is alot smaller on that car i have a 6.8 l v10 compared to that small probably 4 banger

                  The operation is exactly the same. The second hose is pretty much specific to that vehicle and bleeding, yes even on a system with only one hose going to the pressurized expansion tank, is completed the same way.

                  Larger engines are actually easier to bleed in my experience.

                    sweet since it’s the same procedure i appreciate all the information i’ll reference back to the video when i’m starting the flush and changing out some parts thank you all for your help appreciate the knowledge
